康奈尔大学会计硕士好吗？
CMU的MPP和WIS 都申请到了，最后选择了WIS 因为喜欢芝加哥 这个城市 虽然CMU在市区但是感觉周围环境比较荒凉。。。。然后就是因为会计这个专业 在WIS读完研究生以后 有机会可以读PhD 这样能跟自己的偶像 一样 是人生赢家啊哈哈哈（我偶像就是最喜欢研究数据的！） 然后也申请到了哥大 但是由于哥大的MSFE在我本科的背景上看是stem专业 所以有3年的OPT 另外因为哥大跟我其他offer的时差问题 需要gap一年 但是WIS和我其他offer都不需要 所以我最后选择了哥大 但是没去哥大就读，去了南加大MSF， 因为觉得哥大需要gap一年很麻烦，而且那时候已经拿到了南加的offer，就没有选择哥大
关于这个项目 我只上过这个项目的online course(因为被拒了) so my opinion is based on that. The course was very intense， with new information being presented every day. I found the best way to study and retain the material was to take good notes and do a deep dive into any topics/topics where i felt stuck. One of the things we focused on in class were "key concepts" that you need to understand to be successful at this degree level (and later an MBA). These key concepts include：
1. Understanding the core principles behind decision trees， regression， optimization etc. which are used by every department in every company as well as government agencies；
2. The importance of statistics and data analysis——not just for business but also our everyday life；
3. How to think critically and solve complex problems——so that students can learn how to identify situations where data analysis could be useful and then do it right；
4. The fundamentals of finance——“to give students a strong background in finance before they enter the job market”. For example -- cost of capital， basic valuation等等
5. Risk management——how to quantify risk， how to design an efficient portfolio等
6. Business law——from antitrust laws to intellectual property to securities regulations.
